To some people the act of visualization is ‘hokey pokey’ and just too ‘new-age’, but visualization can be an awesome tool! Fitness people do it all the time when they are working out or competing, they visualize their victory and use it to motivate themselves to push harder and go beyond their limits. I do the same things with my food, every time I eat a healthy meal I visualize myself getting one more step closer to my health & wellness goals and tap into just how great the healthy food makes me feel now and into the future. Personally I want to enjoy and be inspired by everything I do, and this is definitely something that helps and works!!
Do you find thinking about healthy eating and losing weight only makes you crave junk food even more??!! The intention is there, but the constant planning, researching and thinking about food and diet can cause many people to binge, over eat and crave junk foods!! If you are thinking right now, “Yep, that’s me!!” here’s an experiment to try!!
