I once did a video talking about my husband’s diet, how he eats a traditional Indonesian diet of white rice, vegetables and some sort of animal or vegetable protein three times a day, everyday. Someone wrote me asking what my opinion of white rice is, is it really all that unhealthy as they say it is in the West, or is it ok to eat it as part of a healthy diet? Half the world’s population eats a rice-based diet (similar to what my husband’s eats), and they certainly aren’t eating brown rice or other whole grain rices, so is white rice all that bad? Here’s my opinion!!
