Someone posted this question on one of my videos last week, plus they asked how this would affect how we raised our daughter. Great question and I am happy to respond to this!!

Very interesting subject, Natasha … and one that’s near and dear to my heart. When my husband and I met, he was eating boxed macaroni and cheese or frozen pizza, etc. for dinner. (That gives you a little insight into what his diet was like.) That was 22 years ago now. I wasn’t raised on a particularly healthy diet, but my parents were big into Shaklee food supplements and took that route themselves and with their children to find good health. So I was always hearing about how to be healthy by taking food supplements while I was growing up. But over the years, something inside of me led me to more of the way that you do things … real food for health over supplementation. However, I, too, tend to get a little bit over-zealous about health and it’s been a source of contention between my husband and I from time to time over the years … especially when it comes to our children’s health. He’s out buying them sugary treats and I’m here trying to counter-act that with green drinks, etc. (which, by the way, the kids do like because I make them very yummy). I have now been dubbed the “health freak” by my kids. Thankfully, over the years, my husband has become a much healthier eater, but there must be a balance if I want harmony.
Interesting- your husband eats to not be hungry. That’s real… I’d like to see a short video of him speaking about this. Good to see you again…
