Quinoa is a great grain packed with protein and minerals and super simple to cook and prepare! In today’s video I show just how easy it is to make, plus I also give some suggestions as to what else you can add to a quinoa to spice it up and all the different ways you can add it to your meals.
1 Cup Quinoa
2 Cups Water
1- Rinse quinoa in cold water.
2- Put quinoa and water in a saucepan and bring to a boil.
3- Let cook for 15 minutes, until quinoa is slightly translucent and soft in texture.
4. Drain quinoa and serve!
(Cooked quinoa can be seasoned and spiced up with all sorts of ingredients like salt, herbs, fresh or dried spices, olive oil, dried fruits, nuts, vegetables, etc.)
