Happy New Year!!!!
After a long break from doing videos, I am happy to be back!! Last year was an AMAZING year– I gave birth to my beautiful daughter Luna Ray! She was born October 7, 2013, 3.8kg (8lbs 6oz) in Bali, Indonesia. She was actually born inside her amniotic sac (it never broke during labor or delivery!), which is not only rare, but amazing!!! She is a wonderful little girl, and now she seems to be on a good routine of taking an afternoon nap everyday, I’ve got the time to start doing regular videos again for Radiance Central!! This is one of my New Year’s resolutions!!!
So to kick things off, I want to introduce Luna Ray to all of you and also share my birth story! Below are photos from my pregnancy, birth, and of gorgeous Luna Ray as she is getting bigger and bigger! Today’s video I share our story of having a non-medicated natural water birth here in Bali, Indonesia, and also introduce the marvelous Luna Ray!!!
Here’s photos from my pregnancy, you can see my growing belly over the weeks:

Wow, what a Beautiful baby!!!! You look SO happy and at peace. I’m very happy for you Natasha. I did your 10 day juice feast last year (albeit for only 5 days) but got a LOT out of it. Thanks for everything you do to help others attain great health and peace. I had struggled with many health issues and have nearly eliminated them all with eating whole foods and living as stress-free and peaceful as possible. I have a question: how did you end up in Bali? That is the one place on the planet that I’ve always wanted to visit; especially after reading Eat, pray Love. Peace and Happiness to you 🙂

Your baby girl is gorgeous, Natasha! I was just thinking the other day that I miss your videos : ) Happy to hear that you are back! I wish you a fabulous 2014 filled with love, joy, abundance and plenty-o-laughs. All the best.
How beautiful to share your ‘birthing story’ with us all, Natasha. Very moving and touching. You have indeed a very pretty precious happy daughter. Luna Ray is such a lovely name too. You look as radiant as ever!! I’ve missed you so much! <3 x
Congratulations again Natasha! Thank you for sharing the story of Luna Ray’s birth and all the wonderful pictures. She is a beautiful little girl. It’s nice to see your mom and dad were there too! Say hello to your mother for me, please.
I don’t know if I mentioned to you before how much the juice fast helped me, in more ways than I had ever imagined. Not only did if take care of my digestive problems but it completely cured me of rosascea over time too and serious sinus issues! Amazing!
Take care and good health and happiness to you and your family in the New Year.
Thanks,
Julie
Natasha, thank you so much for sharing your amazing birthing story! Your daughter Luna Ray is so very sweet — so very precious! I know you are so very very happy being a mom! From your videos, I can tell that you are a terrific, very loving and patient mother!
It is so great to see such a glowing update. You are such a fantastic person, and I bet you are an amazing mother!
I look forward to seeing more videos soon.
I would love to hear more about your B12 story – especially during/after pregnancy. I was diagnosed with B12 last year (being sick of taking 6 hour naps to conserve energy). After re-introducing b12 into my life, I CHANGED my life. I feel like a more radiant person now.
All the best,
Kaeli

Your daughter is gorgeous! Congratulations… you too look wonderful and it’s so nice to see you back. Happy New Year to you and your family and the best in 2014. Thank you for sharing your photos.
I am so happy for you! Your beautiful daughter looks like a very happy baby. How blessed she is to have a mommy who understands the importance of balanced nutrition and the best ways to go about it, so that she can continue growing healthy and strong throughout her life. Having gone through 6 natural/home/water births myself, I can totally relate … however, I was only sick during the first trimesters with each (and that was hell for me), so I can only imagine how hard it was to go through that the whole nine months and also through labor! Oh, my heart goes out to you! But you made it and now you have your reward … your little bundle of joy. Congratulations to you and your husband!!!
By the way, I love your videos! I know that pregnancy and a new baby take a lot out of you and it takes time to get back to normal … so I’ve been patiently waiting. I’m so glad you’re back!
Hi Natasha, I’m so happy that you are back! I did missed you! You have a wonderful personality. Also, your daughter is so adorable and beautiful! Wishing you guys all the best! With gratitude.
Dear Natasha,
Welcome to motherhood!! It is nice to hear of someone else having a long birth. My first birth took 30 hours. No pain-relief other than hot baths. So, I know how you felt! But, like you say, the benefits afterwards are worth it all: breastfeeding, happy hormones and so forth. Also a great choice to leave the umbilical cord on afterwards.
The best of luck to you three. I can tell through how harmonious Luna Ray is that you are mothering her the very right way nature intended!

I’m a midwife student in the US. Super curious about your morning sickness through your whole pregnancy. I am led to believe that eating the way that you do, especially for so many years, would keep that long term sickness from happening! Please elaborate! My student mind is super eager to hear your thoughts on this!! Please!
Thank you for putting together the best of 2014 – I might not have found this otherwise! I’m SOOO happy for ALL of you to have had such an AMAZING birth!! I’ve never heard of the little one being born in the amniotic sack, especially still in tact! WOW!! My third and last child, Shon, was born at home in 1979 in rural Kansas. I got up at dawn, watched the sun come up as I sat in the children’s rope swing outside under a pine tree (June 16, so it was warm), while I had that dull achy low-back pain. My water had broken about 12 hours earlier, but everything seemed fine, and I really didn’t want to go to the hospital, which was 45 minutes away, unless necessary (natural birth was NOT done at that time and I did NOT want shots, gas, IV’s, etc). Even with the vaginal birth, Shon didn’t cry, either, until much later. I remember laying him on his tummy at about 2 hrs old – he pulled his arms up under himself, pushed, and raised up and looked around! He was 3 1/2 weeks early but 7 1/2 pounds & nearly 22″ long. I, too, had been active and healthy – and produced a very strong, happy, sweet boy ;-D He is now 35 years old, 6’3″, slender, strong, and very spiritual and sensitive. It’s a good thing you eat healthy so Luna Ray is healthy, too, despite your constant sickness. I’m glad you’re getting your strength back. And thanks, as I’ve said many times, for giving so much of yourself to all of us… And thank you for sharing your story and your beautiful, beautiful *LUNA*RAY* !! ;-D
